Deals are collected automatically from public deal feeds — Slickdeals, DealNews, several deal subreddits — plus the CheapShark and Steam APIs for video games. Nothing is posted by hand, so the list reflects what those sources are highlighting right now rather than anyone's editorial picks.
New deals are pulled in throughout the day, and existing ones are re-checked against the retailer's own page on a rolling basis. When a re-check finds the price has jumped or the page has gone, the listing is removed automatically.
Mostly, but not always. Each price is read from the source listing and then verified against the retailer's page where that page can be read. Two things break this: coupon-code and in-cart discounts do not appear in a page's published price, and some retailers — Amazon in particular — block automated price checks entirely. Listings we cannot re-verify carry a note telling you to confirm the price yourself. Always check the price on the retailer's site before buying.
Deals expire. Every listing has a countdown, and once it lapses — or once a re-check finds the price gone — the deal is removed from the feed. Deal pages stay online for a while afterwards with their price history, so you can see what the item sold for.
Every price seen for a product is recorded. That badge appears when the current price is the lowest in the history collected for it. It only covers the period this site has been tracking the item, not its entire retail history.

Game deals move much faster and in far greater volume than physical products, so they would swamp the main feed. They live under the Video Games category instead, and are also posted to Discord once a day.
No. Game listings are filtered against Steam's own content descriptors plus a keyword check, and anything flagged for nudity or sexual content is rejected before it reaches the site or the Discord channel.
