This Privacy Policy explains what information BrokeBoyDeals ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit https://brokeboydeals.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can operate the Site with.

Who this Site is for

The Site is intended for people 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Information we collect

No public accounts. The Site has no public sign-up or login, so we do not ask visitors for names, passwords, or payment information.
Server logs. Our host records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of your request. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate traffic statistics.
Local storage. We store small preferences (such as your light/dark theme choice) in your browser using localStorage. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
Deal alerts (optional). If you enable browser push notifications, your browser provides an anonymous push subscription used solely to send those alerts. You can revoke it in your browser settings.
Click counts. When you click a deal link we increment an aggregate counter and store a click log (time, deal title, category, store, price). These records are not tied to your name or account. We do not store a marketing profile of you.

Affiliate links, Impact, and third-party cookies

When you click an outbound deal link you leave our Site and are sent to a third-party retailer or an affiliate network acting for that retailer. Those parties — which may include Impact Tech, Inc. (Impact.com), Amazon Associates, eBay Partner Network, and similar networks — may set their own cookies or similar technologies to attribute a resulting purchase to us so we can earn a commission (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not control those cookies. Their use is governed by the privacy policies of those third parties. We do not receive your payment details or a line-item list of what you bought — only aggregate commission reports from the network.

We do not load hidden frames, tracking pixels, or affiliate cookies on pages you merely view. Affiliate tracking, if it occurs, happens after a click you initiated.

To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
To understand which deals are popular, in aggregate.
To deliver deal alerts if you opt in.
To attribute outbound clicks so affiliate networks can credit a commission.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents: this is our “do not sell or share” statement under the CPRA. We have no “Do Not Sell My Info” form because we do not sell or share personal information in that sense.

Legal bases and notices

Where privacy law requires a notice or consent before a service provider processes visitor data, this policy is that notice. Impact and other networks process click-attribution data as service providers / processors of the advertiser (and, where applicable, of us) under their own data protection terms. You can refuse third-party cookies in your browser; doing so may prevent a purchase from being credited to us, but it will not change the price you pay.

Third-party services

The Site relies on our web host and on CheapShark’s public API for deal data. Outbound deal clicks go to CheapShark’s redirect, then to the game store. Visiting those external sites is subject to their own privacy policies.

Retention

Server logs are retained by the host for a limited operational period. Click-log rows are kept so we can report popular deals after a listing expires, then removed by routine cleanup. Theme preferences stay on your device until you clear them.

Your choices

Disable or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
Turn off deal-alert notifications in your browser at any time.
Use your browser’s private-browsing mode or tracking-protection features.
Email us to ask what we hold that relates to you, or to request deletion of contact emails you sent us.
