This Privacy Policy explains what information BrokeBoyDeals ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit https://brokeboydeals.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept it short because we collect very little.

Information we collect

No accounts. The Site has no public sign-up or login, so we do not ask for or store names, passwords or payment information from visitors.
Server logs. Like virtually all websites, our host automatically records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of your request. This is used for security, troubleshooting and aggregate traffic statistics.
Local storage. We store small preferences (such as your light/dark theme choice) in your own browser using localStorage. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
Deal alerts (optional). If you choose to enable browser push notifications for deal alerts, your browser provides an anonymous push subscription used solely to send those alerts. You can revoke it at any time in your browser settings.
Click counts. We tally how many times a deal link is clicked, in aggregate, to rank popular deals. These counts are not tied to your identity.

Affiliate links and third-party cookies

When you click an outbound deal link, you are taken to a third-party retailer or affiliate network. Those parties may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to attribute a resulting purchase to us so we can earn a commission (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not control these cookies, and their use is governed by the privacy policies of those third parties. We do not receive your payment details or the specific items you buy — only aggregate commission reports.

Third-party services

The Site relies on third parties including our web host and the affiliate networks and retailers we link to. Deal content is aggregated from public sources such as Slickdeals, Reddit, DealNews, CheapShark and Steam. Visiting those external sites is subject to their own privacy policies.

Turn off deal-alert notifications in your browser at any time.
Use your browser's "Do Not Track" or private browsing modes.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
